Bearded theory is a music festival which is held at Catton hall in Derbyshire every year and this year it was an absolute belter.
It helped that the weather was really good with glorious sunshine all weekend and temperatures in the 20’s. At night it was cold but not enough to keep you indoors.
The site itself is really well laid out with all the smaller stages surrounding the main stage with a great variety of musical and entertainment for all ages.
Because I was working in the Magical Sounds tent I didn’t get to see everything but had sometime off to see Gary Newman and the Pretenders, along with a few smaller bands and musicians such as Beans on Toast.
Cant fault the organisation at the event with plenty of staff around to help out and point you in the right direction, along with a great selection of food and product stalls around the site.
The toilets facilities were superb and all the toilets at the event were regularly cleaned. There was also really good shower facilities on the campsites meaning by the end of 5 days we all didn’t stink.
Definitely going back next year.
