There have been a number of events over the past few days which have made me go hmmm!
One does think one looks great and sometimes a confidence boost from friends is all you need.
On this particular day I was at a friends house today and had been at a meeting before hand on the Welsh border and was dressed in my business wear. Suit, heels, tights and had my makeup turned up to 8!
One of her friends came round to her house and although I know the young lady in question, the first thing she said to me was “Wow! you look fab. Do you dress like that for work everyday?”
No I don’t, but this particular day the meeting I had been to was with one of my larger clients and I was dressed to impress.
I love to wear heels to business meetings because at 5 foot 11 without heels, and 6 foot 3 in heels it gives me an elevated height to look down on the others in the meeting. Call it a superiority complex!
I know from past meeting that I get treated differently because of this especially when around men as they cant look down on me.
As I said. Superiority Complex!
This particular young lady was very impressed with my outfit that day and her comments did elevate me even further!
The second thing which made me go hmmm, was someone telling me “I love you” and believe me when I say no one has said these words to me for a long time.
She went on to say, she loved me because I make her feel good about herself. She loves me because I’m always positive, about her, myself and others, and she loves me because I am a lovely, caring, happy person.
It shocked me a lot that someone has said this about me in such context.
